Boys & Girls Clubs of America Spotlight on Growth
When the pandemic hit, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Anaheim-Cypress saw an opening to spread their youth outreach across not one, but two school districts. Speaking with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Club discusses how community networking played a powerful role and how their younger staff and laid-back atmospheres keep kids and teens coming back.
“They saw our staff at work, serving the whole child through balanced programs that aren’t only focused on academics. They saw us providing chances for community building, social-emotional learning, and sports and fitness, too. Our partnership with that school district was really the biggest contributing factor to our growth. We were able to get our foot in the door and show them just how much Clubs can do.”
